These reports identify the sample as ‘Glass insulation coating/liquid thermal film’, not G801 or G802. Results apply to the submitted samples. Confirm model, formulation and batch applicability before specifying a product.

The near-infrared method is outside the report’s CNAS accredited scope. Transmittance is not reflectance, TSER or SHGC. The physical and optical reports must not be combined to infer one specimen’s coating thickness or curing history.
Understand the four key measures
VLT
The share of visible light transmitted through the tested glazing. Compare only with the substrate and test conditions stated.
TSER
Total solar energy rejection describes solar energy kept outside by a glazing system. It is not the same as near-infrared rejection.
SHGC
Solar heat gain coefficient includes directly transmitted solar energy and the part of absorbed heat that flows indoors. Lower values indicate less solar heat gain under the stated conditions.
Haze
The proportion of transmitted light that is scattered. Review it alongside VLT and a visual trial to assess clarity.
From a laboratory panel to your building
Glass construction, coating thickness, cure age, orientation, weather and ventilation affect the result. Record these conditions for a side-by-side trial. The supplied reports do not establish a model-specific SHGC, TSER, energy-saving percentage, room-temperature reduction or service life.
Questions about the results
Why can coated glass look darker?
A coating changes the light transmitted through the glazing. Compare a trial panel on the actual glass in daylight and at night before approving the finish.
Will a coastal site have the same service life?
Salt exposure, humidity, cleaning and surface condition can affect a coating. Agree site-specific preparation, maintenance and warranty terms; these reports are not a coastal durability test.
Can the coating replace air conditioning?
No such replacement is promised. Solar control is one part of a building’s heat balance; occupancy, ventilation, insulation and climate also matter.
