Manage solar heat
A transparent functional layer helps manage solar energy passing through glass. Select the coating against your glazing and comfort goals.
Heat-insulating coatings for glass
TheLonelyBrave is the glass-coating brand of The Lonely Brave (Changzhou) New Materials Co., Ltd. Explore G801 for architectural glazing, request samples and discuss project supply or OEM/ODM cooperation.
Why consider a glass coating?
From a sunroom trial to a building retrofit, start with the glass, the application and the evidence.
A transparent functional layer helps manage solar energy passing through glass. Select the coating against your glazing and comfort goals.
Assess light transmission and haze together. A trial panel lets you check the view and appearance before a larger application.
Apply liquid coating directly to prepared, accessible glass. Check the pane and any existing surface treatment before work starts.
Roller and spray grades suit different workflows. Match the supplied formulation, tools and application instructions to the job.
Read the SGS sample reports with their test conditions, then confirm which specification applies to your ordered formulation.
Discuss samples, project supply, distribution or OEM/ODM. Agree the specification and commercial terms before scaling up.

Testing & reports
Review the supplied SGS reports, what each measurement means and what to confirm for your project.
The share of visible light transmitted through the tested glazing. Compare only with the substrate and test conditions stated.
Total solar energy rejection describes solar energy kept outside by a glazing system. It is not the same as near-infrared rejection.
Solar heat gain coefficient includes directly transmitted solar energy and the part of absorbed heat that flows indoors. Lower values indicate less solar heat gain under the stated conditions.
The proportion of transmitted light that is scattered. Review it alongside VLT and a visual trial to assess clarity.

It is a liquid functional coating applied to glass to form a transparent layer for solar control. G801 is offered for architectural glazing and project evaluation; confirm the formulation for the intended glass and application method.
A liquid coating cures on the glass; a conventional film is a separate sheet. Compare appearance, solar performance, access, repair and removal on your actual glazing. A coating does not have sheet-film edges, but surface defects are still possible if preparation or application is unsuitable.
Typical assessment scenarios include residential windows, sunrooms, shopfronts and office glazing. Curtain walls and vehicle glazing need a specific compatibility and installation review before use.
There is no single value for every glass and coating. The Testing & reports page lists supplied sample measurements with their methods and conditions. Confirm a result matched to the ordered formulation, substrate, film thickness and cure age.
Review haze and visible-light transmission together, then inspect a trial on the actual glass. Substrate condition, film thickness and application quality affect appearance; a laboratory sample cannot guarantee the appearance of every installation.
No fixed temperature reduction or replacement of air conditioning is promised. Orientation, glazing area, weather, ventilation and building insulation all affect indoor conditions. Use a documented on-site comparison to assess your project.
Application can be assessed on installed glass with safe access to the correct surface. Removal is not a default step. Confirm compatibility, edge protection and access arrangements; vehicle windows remain part of the vehicle during an appropriate application.
Match the method to the supplied formulation. Roller and spray grades are supplied separately and are not interchangeable. A demonstration of one method does not authorize another method for the same batch; follow its current application instructions.
Warranty is a written commercial commitment; expected service life depends on exposure and maintenance. A fixed public warranty or service-life figure has not been finalized. Confirm the applicable written terms in your quotation before ordering.
Wait until the supplied formulation has fully cured. Follow its approved cleaning guidance and trial the cleaner on a small area. Avoid abrasive pads or aggressive chemicals unless specifically approved for that coating.
Yes. Tell us the glass type, application method, target appearance and destination. We will discuss sample format, availability, charges and shipping before arranging a sample.
We welcome OEM/ODM, distribution and export project enquiries. Agree customization scope, sample approval, documentation, minimum quantity and lead time for the proposed order; these terms are not fixed for every formulation.
